ResumeAhead Help Center

Quick answers about saving your resume, generating documents, and getting support in the current version of ResumeAhead.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Do I need an account or payment method?

No account is required in the current version of ResumeAhead. PDF export is a paid feature, but during the public beta PDF downloads are available at no charge and no payment method is required. TXT export is available free of charge.

Where is my resume saved?

Your active resume draft is saved only in your browser's local storage. It should remain available when you return using the same browser and device, unless the browser or device clears the stored site data.

The draft does not automatically move to another browser or device. Private browsing modes and browser cleanup tools may remove it without warning.

How do I remove a saved draft?

Use the builder's clear or reset function when available, or clear the site data for ResumeAhead in your browser settings. Because the local copy is controlled by your browser, our support team cannot view or remotely delete it.

What happens when I generate a document?

Some export methods can be completed in your browser. When a feature uses server-assisted generation, ResumeAhead sends the content needed for that request to cloud infrastructure for transient processing.

The application does not persist the resume content sent for that generation request. Technical request logs may still be retained by infrastructure providers for limited security, reliability, and abuse-prevention purposes, but they are not intended to store the resume document itself.

How do I contact support?

Email us with a description of the issue, the browser and device you used, and any error message you saw. Remove sensitive resume details from screenshots or attachments whenever possible.
